This is my last night out here. I want to thank everyone for supporting me in this. I want to thank my mom Monica Rivera for being the best mom in the world and raising me to be the man I am today. She has sacrificed so much for me and has given me everything. From when I was little it was her showing me to throw a baseball all the way to her studying my general orders with me. My mom has had my back thru thick and thin. I have done my best to be her partner in crime and her shield. Mom I love you with all my heart. You made the hardest choice any mother could make when you singed the papers for me at 17. I love you mom with all my heart! I also want to thank everyone else that supported me. With out all the support I probably wouldnt be sitting in this hotel room right now Lol :). I do not consider this a good bye but an Ill see you later. For all who doubted me, talked bad about me, or just plain didnt like me. I thank you as well. You people motivated me to go further. Just piss all yall off some more :). I leave my home a young man. I will return a United States Marine. I want to thank my recruiters Sgt. Rene Sotelo, Ssgt Freddy Garcia, Sgt. Daniel Vallejo, Ssgt Ryan Badua. You guys motivated me to keep going when I felt I couldnt continue. You guys picked me up when I was down. I also want to thank Dylan Villareal for picking me up when I felt I wasnt cut out for this, he kept me going. All my friends and family that have been there thru thick and thin. I thank you all. Words cannot express my gratitude. I also want to thank my Tata I know she is up in heaven smiling down on me. And I know she will be my rock when I feel I cant go on. I know she will watch over me. I want to thank my dad Edwin Hidalgo for showing me how to be a man. Again I leave home a young man the next time I come back. I come back a United States Marine.
