This is my latest version of a hybrid kit. Due to the drummer departing from the band I was playing percussion with, I devised this rig. It is based on a four piece Pearl Forum 20 bass drum, 14snare, 10 & 12 toms. The percussion rack was my original stand mounted version. I added two outriggers which swing off the ends of the main member. I use a foot-pedal mounted frame tambourine for hats. A small reco-reco takes the place of playing closed hats. With the addition of small bongos tuned low and a mounted pandeiro, I have enough drums. I can add more instruments depending on the style of music. This set up is for a rock concert.
