This is my little girl. I didnt know her until last May. Several members of my church selected children living in poverty and chose to sponsor them through compassion. She turned five years old this last August. When I saw those hands on hips (that pose), I knew this was the little girl for me. She lives in a small town in Ecuador and deserves better than what she has. There are a lot of children around the world living this way. I urge you to go to the website above and read about the program and what they make available to these children. They give you the opportunity to select your own child (gender, country, age) or they will assign a child to you if you like. $38 dollars a month...I waste more than that. This is the best $38 dollars Ive ever spent. Writing letters to your child, telling them they are not worthless, getting that first letter from your child with the crayon picture theyve drawn. Please consider it. Releasing children from poverty in Jesus name.
