This is my mother...Freda Brinkley Midgett...she was in the US Coast Guard during WWII....she followed in the footsteps of many of her family members who were in the Coast Guard and known as the Mighty Midgetts...such a proud family and an honor to be part of it...she was from the Outer Banks...Always in our hearts...she is buried in the cemetery in Manteo, NC with many of her family members, including her great grandfather...Love you, Mom and miss you very much.....
