This is my recipe for Yorkshire Pudding: 1/2 cup or 1/4 lb. plain flour 1 egg Pinch salt 300 ML or 1/2 pint milk Sift flour and salt into a basin . Make a well in centre of flour. Break egg and drop into well. Gradually beat the flour in the egg with a wooden spoon . Add the milk gradually until 1/2 the milk is used and all the flour is taken up. Beat well, add the remainder of the milk. Stand in a cool place for an hour. TO BAKE : Melt 1 tablespoon of fat in a baking tin or pie dish; when hot pour in batter.
