This is my son Alex. He suffers from a very rare, incurable disease called Juvenile Dermatomyositis. Alex is so strong and such a little fighter. However, due to this horrible disease he has to take medications which have serious side affects but without them he would not be here. JM is such a rare disease that only 1000 new cases are diagnosed each year. Alex is such a sweet child and all he wants is to be able to play and be a noraml little boy like his classmates.
