This is my story: My husband and I have been married for just a little over a year now. We got married at the young age of 19, on May 2nd, 2013. We had a courthouse wedding. We met when we were freshman in high school and we had the same JROTC class. I always thought he was cute but never said anything. We never really talked to each other and I just thought he was a punk. After his first year at the high school he transferred schools for family reasons. I was sad to see him go and didnt think we would reconnect. 4 years later we ran into each other while I was out and about. And he looked me up and FB and we reconnected. It all started with him asking Are you single? I said yes that I was. We started dating and had our first date on the bridge downtown over looking the river. We dated for 9 months when he proposed. Needless to say I am very grateful for my husband. He helped me out of a very rough situation in my life. Every day I am incredibly blessed to wake up to him each morning. Sure we have had our ups and downs and a lot of people doubted us because we got married so young. The truth is, I wouldnt change a thing. My husband has been there for me, through good times and bad. He has never left my side and has always been there when I need him most. My husband is my rock. My soulmate. My other 1/2. And my best friend. He truly is the one I laugh with, dream about and love. My husband is the love of my life. And I am beyond blessed to have him as a part of my life.
