This is my workhorse model T. I bought it at the 2011 pre-war swap meet in Chickasha Ok. It appeared to have been a really bad attempt at making a speedster. It was so ugly that I couldnt help but buy it. The body was part 20s touring and early 20s coupe. Once home I decided to put it together with some rough rusty parts I had and named it .Smooth Southern Hookup. The motor was in pretty food shape so I went through and tightened everything, replaced the band linings, and the rest is history. People are always asking me if Im going to restore it but I like it just like it is now. This is one of the most fun Ts Ive ever had. I use it all the time. I added the trailer in 2012 because I wanted to use it to haul parts at the 2012 Chickasha Pre-War Swap meet. If you are ever get a chance to buy a model T thats too ugly to resist, I highly recommend you do so. I can park The Smooth Southern Hookup next to my pristine 1914 roadster and the roadster gets completely ignored. The Smooth Southern wins out every time. Arent we T model Folks funny? ,
