This is needed, so, these are the points I want to emphasize: 1. Everything goes through Winter. This is the period of hibernation that is difficult because its barren. The hyper-production of fruit after this period is what we enjoy as Spring. 2. Winter is not meant to destroy your hope, but to strengthen your roots so that you can STAND in ANY season. 3. It can be prolonged and/or become permanent when you fail to admit to God that you are, in fact: Standing in the middle of it. Are hurting because of it and Want it to end so that you can enjoy life (again). Let the pride go. How can you expect God to heal your heart when you wont give it up in the first place. Additionally, how can you expect ANYONE to care for your heart or give you theirs when youre HIDING behind the vanity of strength and bravado. Truly strong people dont have to hide behind anything. In fact, they APPEAR to always be in Spring, because they have ALREADY CONQUERED THEIR WINTER. Its the reason I always smile even when my heart is being broken.
