This is not a P.S.A. but, it is a heart felt plea to the young men that I know. Over the course of 3months i have watched as not only my son but now my nephew sit ideally by in a court room as others get to choose their course in life. You were not born into the luxury of a high priced attorney but, rather a PD Who will not remember your name. You are systematically designed for greatness yet, you desire failure. Life teaches you to fight your way to the top instead you choose to walk into court. Education is nothing to be ashamed of while hard work is just a stepping stone to what this thing called life is. Quick to pick up a gun, a blunt, a drink yet lacking in basic skills. Shout out hood calls but refuse to seek the face of Jesus. The core of who you are. The essence of your strength is not proving to the world how hard you are but, knowing in your heart who you are and striving for better. My prayer of prosperity and love to you all.
