This is not a scintillating improvisation, but it has an interesting backstory. Thursday morning I had to get up early to fullfill a promise to a customer that I would be there to fix her copier the moment she opened the front door, very very early, Indiana time.. After a long day Thursday, I was rather tired and as I was relaxing with my Casiohorn and jazz tracks, I fell asleep in my chair, not an unusual thing. I often sleep in a chair. I woke up around midnight with the Casiohorn still around my neck. I put it on my bed and went to sleep on my couch in my living room, also something I do often depending on my mood. When I got up this morning, I discovered that my camera had been on record all night and my batteries dead. I checked the sim card and found this improvisation. I have a sleepy, hazy memory of doing it and sleeping as I was doing it. Of course, I realize I am opening myself to comments about the sleep inducing quality of this music. I post it anyway, as I am fascinated by the movement of semi-conscious states....
