This is not an attempt to insult anyone but years ago I decided that my views were more in line with conservatism than liberalism. At the time, it wasnt necessarily a given, like it is now for the most part, that being a democrat and a liberal were synonymous. Since then heres something Ive observed. Neither party have a sterling track record of late when it comes to taking care of the national finances, however, I never hear democrat leaders talking positively about the country or its people. Mostly what I hear are a lot of ignorant statements like the Constitution being 400 years old or that Guam will tip over if more troops are sent there or reading a bill before you pass it. In my mind, to be a democrat, you must be a fatalist; believing that something bad will inevitably happen if we dont give all our money to the government. Despite the continuing and still unsubstantiated assertion of global warming, melting of permafrost in Alaska which is adding to it, meteors on their way to destroy us all -------- you too can invest in saving the planet by donating to the re-election of your local Democrat Senator or House member. Now today there is yet another Chicken Little attempt at deflecting attentions away from the still declining popularity of ObamaCare by victimizing women. The reason women, on a national average, make less isnt due to gender inequality but because of job choice. Its simply just another example of what I call fatalistic and drama-girl politics. Proof positive that if you find enough gullible people who you can scare with your gloom and doom theyll empty their wallets without question.
