This is not at all sirens-ey (as some like to begin their posts with, lol) but its late on Sunday night, and i felt like sharing … if you dont care for the post, keep scrolling, or feel free to yell at me for abusing my position as admin of the page, lol … for some reason this page made me ponder a little bit today where some of us get our different ideas about what our country stands for, or means to us, or should mean to others … and i remembered some of the songs our grade school music teacher taught us, and got curious, so looked up these words … turns out i knew it pretty well, as i typed the entire first two stanzas into google … imagine that … what patriotic song from grade school can you still recite? …AND, when is the last time you read closely or listened to those words, as a grown up? … try it… youtube/watch?v=sN2I6vdzgts
