This is not my idea! Dale Dulson phoned me and made a suggestion to me. As chairman SAF duty bound to listen and at the end of the conversation have without question wholeheartedly agreed to support. It is well recorded that SAF cannot be a CLUB that we must surely all now appreciate, those that question this fact are not only in the minority but in a no win position. A SOCIAL CLUB of SAF, why not? Dale is chasing down the Monkmoor Pub who have a free functions room, I await his report eagerly. How about (to start with) a by-monthly meeting of anglers, a social evening of beer and chat, nothing more. That said I will support every meeting and any groundswell will be taken to the joint committee meeting to be addressed and subsequently reporting the outcome on our SAF Facebook forum. For my part I will attend, any committee members who wish to join in great!..........Either way it will be open meetings for Annual Permit Holders. A couple of hours chinwag, if it takes off and you feel monthly, then so be it. If it fails through lack of support, we can say we tried!
