This is of significant importance to the field. The Rehab Act of 1973 is up for reauthorization and there are senators who want to broaden the scope of who can provide the service beyond vocational rehabilitation counselors without getting the proper training ( e.g. human resources, business, special educators, social workers, public administrators, etc.). We encourage you to contact your senators and express your opposition to that aspect of the legislation.
