This is one of my new favorite sites now! I am so sick of the response I get every time I mention that I am having a C-Section, where I instantly feel the need to have to explain myself as if I am doing something wrong... The shocked WHY?! response and people feeling the need to apologize or comfort me in some way. Some even try to assure me that, with their absence of a medical degree, they know better than my doctor and my specialist... Does it really effect anyone else when it comes to the birth of my child? Not everyone gets the luxury of making the decision on how to have their baby and I am done feeling like a black sheep because I am not able to have a vaginal birth. When a woman is told she needs a C-Section, she wants to do whatever it takes to have a healthy, happy outcome. Those women are heroes to me. They’ve made the first sacrifice of being a great mom. :)
