This is one of the best blog posts I have read in a long time. Tara moved to remote Cape York eight years ago to pursue her studies/career in anthropology. Her experience was profound and now, as she prepares to move on, she recalls the challenges and joys of living in an Indigenous community. I was living in a third world country which was in our very own backyard. I lived in a part of Australia that is so misunderstood or otherwise forgotten about by the rest of the world.
