This is one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. On Friday i picked up a pup that was close to death. On Friday she was too weak to do anything other than sleep, Saturday she slept most of the day, but slept while she was learning what hugs are. Today she plucked up the strength and confidence to walk up and down the stairs... over and over again. And now for the first time (probably ever) she has had a play with Billy and Maggie. They were really gentle with her too.... Spain really is making me soft... had me in tears!! If you have ever thought about fostering, i can promise you that you would love it!! It may be a voluntary service but its so worth it when you can see the difference you have made to a little ones life, and their appreciation and love is payment in itself :)
