This is one of the reasons why I wouldnt be surprised if Facebook were to die soon. Its ridiculous that you have to use your real name as a display name for your personal page. If they want our real names so bad we can give it to them when we sign up along with our email address and other private information. At least give us the option to choose whatever display name we want. I guess thats too much to ask. According to Facebook, they do this to help build an authentic community. I dont know about all that.... Anyway, I signed the petition.
