This is one of the worst things to come from the Republican victory in November and the massive shift to the extreme right in the party in the last decade. We have this guy in charge of the environment and Ted Cruz in charge of NASA. Now I realize that probably nobody in the Senate is really qualified to understand the details of what NASA does or the intimate details of climate change. I also realize that it is important to have different view points (even if they are proven wrong) on the committees. However, this is the equivalent of putting a member of the KKK in charge of civil rights or a person who actually cannot add 2+2 in charge of the budget. The current Republican party is not trying to govern. They are showing that they are still the party of bad governance. That they have one goal only.
