This is our ideological, moral, and the social obligation to keep ourselves informed about the current affairs of the world and try to help oppressed people. One of those oppressed people are the inhabitants of the city of Homs in Syria. Please keep Homs in your prayers. If, God forbid, Homs falls then the inhabitants of Homs will be at the mercy of the fanatic army of Assad. Homs has been under siege for a while and small number of the freedom fighters resisting against the well-supplied Assads killing machine. Homs is being bombed indiscriminately by the Assad army and so far thousands of civilians including many children have been killed in Homs alone. We must highlight this issue to our representatives and try to mobilize some sort of a help to the helpless people of Homs.
