This is our last Christmas here. My parents owned this house for over 50 years. They raised four kids in this house. They also provided a home for my Uncle Jimmy (moms brother) for the duration of their marriage until his passing. I was fortunate to be able to raise my daughter Logan Tabak in this house for a good part of her life. It is comforting to know that she got to know and love her grandparents as much as she did. It was an awesome neighborhood to grow up in. We are the last of that old neighborhood. Although everything and everyone has changed over the years we have been fortunate enough to have some great neighbors and still do. It will be a very sad and emotional day but it is time to start the next chapter of my life. To mom and dad: I did the best I could. If you are out there somewhere watching over us I hope it was enough. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to mom and dad, Logan and all my family and friends.
