This is our new little girl Odette. Odette is a Boer goat & a twin, she was born 2 hours after her sister & her maiden mum rejected her, so Odette has been bottle raised by a lovely family. I was called because Odette has not been accepted by their flock at all, she was being bullied,pushed away from her food and as she is so very small for her age/breed her family was very concerned about her being injured. Earnest being totally convinced he is a Collie dog, runs up with our collie dogs at strangers chuffing and jumps in any car parked at our farm-(sorry Siobhan & Nicholas!) he also has a strong weakness for cappuccino foam & afternoon T.V He does not interact with our other goats & sheep at all,he actually runs if he sees them coming so we thought these two Non-goats would be perfect for each other! It has worked beautifully Ernie at first was very suspicious of Odette but now after 2 days and bonding over vegemite toast they are becoming good friends ( although at time of typing I saw Ernie run past my window with both the Collies & Odette-sigh) Here Odette/Ernie *whistle,whistle*
