This is perhaps the most frustrating part of doing a restoration and why I continue to hold both GM and the whole OEM and aftermarket parts suppliers in such deep cynical contempt!!! Upon spending nearly a grand on new Deluxe interior door panels....Im running into (understandably due to age) worn small electrical parts. Here is an example of why Im pissed....pictured are the old door lock switches separated from the plastic holding frames which cracked when I removed the old door. I ordered new switches regardless .... So for the $40 do you think these greedy bastards would include the holding frames???? No of course Not.... Its Ala-Cart Screw the consumer at every chance . After 11 years of buying parts I should have expected this...So Im not surprised at All!! Just venting.....and hoping to pass on this to others who may follow similar restorations in the future...... Get the K- Y out......GM takes No Prisoners!!!!!!! Thank you all for allowing me the opportunity to Vent!!!! Lol
