This is probably going to be long, bounce around, and not make a lot of sense...but if you know me, you know thats normal. I have no fancy quotes, cliche sayings, or anything else like that. What I do have is memories, a lot of them, and most of them fond. I remember when I was 19, bar backing @ The Studio (most thought I was 22 (started @ 18) except for Lee /Niko ) is when I really got to know Brian. I knew him from security, but we became much closer when I finally got my opp behind the bar. He use to always make me go sabotage Jason s Bar if I wanted a good tip (melt cups together/super glue stuff/etc), and vise versa. Always asked who my biggest tipping bartender was that night, and always tried to tip more. We would sit and talk (he worked the longest shift), he would teach me things, and I would always listen. He was there for my 21st birthday, refused to let me pay (yes I worked there, but I still tried) wouldnt accept my tip...then moments after helped w/ the guy that tried to slit my throat (thats a whole other story completely!!!!!). I remember when Niko and I brought the whole crew to Banana Joes, and the great times we all had there. When I left our crew and went out on my own, he would always come by have a beer and tell me how much he loved me and how he was proud of me. I just spoke w/ him a few weeks ago, and we caught up a good bit, Im lucky for that. I learned a lot from him, but most importantly, I learned it was ok to be the good guy and nothing can replace hard work. You will be missed, by many, including me. I could go on, and on....Ive got 15 years of stories!! Billy Joel was spot on, Only the Good Die Young....ok, ONE cliche thing.
