This is probably the weirdest post here, but it probably needs to be posted. I am a heavy metal girl at heart, my musical self was born in a mosh pit, and all the gigs I ever attend to leave me with bruises and aches and a sore throat. I attended the FF Final Fling only because one of my dearest friends made one of her unexpected moves and bought me tickets to offer me a part of her world as a personal gift. Besides of a headbanger, Im an explorer, so I came to Nottingham to see what this Firefest is about. I loved it! I loved the place, I loved the people, I loved the skill, the awesome gigs, the shows, the spirit. I never felt I was out of place, because the atmosphere was so f*cking warm and everyone was thirsty for serious rock. Thank you. Thank you Ede for doing this for me, and thank you Firefest crew for this awesome experience! I hope I will have a chance to see you again.
