This is quite disappointing because the focus is just regarding people with fiscal disabilities and accessibility. By saying “legislation that will improve access for persons with disabilities.” which implies that everyone with disabilities will be covered, but its clearly not the case. Accessibility means many things for people with disabilities but people with learning differences/ learning disabilities, mental health disabilities, people living with chronic pain and so on continue to be left out of the discussion. Do we not matter even within the disability community? It does not feel like that we are not fully included when it comes to the discussions about accessibility. If broad terms are going to be used such as persons with disabilities or people with disabilities then please start to include all of use not just one specific disability.
