This is random, but I swear I love The Lab Dance Studio. I feel so honored to be able to teach there, and to have such receptive students every time. Im also grateful for the warm, positive, encouraging energy from the folks who practically LIVE there, aka Monyett Beastly Crump, Charles Guyton, Alex De Guzman, Alex Salgado and the rest. Ive never felt so accepted in my ENTIRE life. Ironically, the one year I decide not to join one of the many Chicago crews, is the year I finally feel this acceptance. Im so grateful, and never take any of these opportunities for granted.
