This is really personal, but also needs to be told. We spent 11 days in the Gard department, in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. My mum was there, we stayed at my step dad, my lil sister was there, we had great times with my best mate and his family. Anyway, none of them are actually from there. The Gard department (the equivalent of a county), is where the Front National always does its best score. I volunteered one day to drive my step grand ma, for her choir session. The Cevennes mountains have always been a refuge, thats why it is a strong Protestant stronghold. Doesnt matter to me what faith, but driving the ladies. FFS, what a bunch of racist old ladies. Unbelievable. Anyway, I did my duty.
