This is really worth a read. We might be at the doorstep of WW3 and there are people who know the imminent threat of such scenario. Sikorski was one of the mediators between protesters on Maidan and now ex-president Yanukovych. A very memorable speech by Sikorski urging ppl to take a largely unsatisfactory compromise deal was met with dismay and disbelief by the protesters who felt that Sikorski as a representative of the west would advocate for a better deal. Sikorsky on the other hand urged the people to take that unpopular deal arguing that if you dont take it now there will be army and lots of blood shed his message was somewhat cryptic and many people were left wondering what exactly he meant by it. I was awaiting this sort of revelation from Sikorski, although I thought he would only reveal this many years later in a book about the events.
