This is so important for me personally. The last 25 years of my work has been recognized by the music industry and Im very proud of that. Ive always felt that I was a little ahead of the times when it came to innovation in the string world.The Orchestra/string world has been a little slow in coming on board with my methods and sometimes radical approach in a world that has not changed in 400 years. From my approach to inventing the electric solid body violin in the 1970s to my musical language and teaching methods, it has been challenging for me to win over the old guard......So this event is the game changer for me and all future string players...Thank you Dr Bob Gillespie!
