This is so unbelievably sad! You will find that many welfare groups and organisations were formed and created due to a specific experience that deeply affected an individual or group, and that they were compelled to take action in any manner.. Quest equine welfare was no different. This is an article they choose to publish about their meeting of a poor darling horse called Scruffy, who was the catalyst of the beginning of their welfare group. Please be warned this article has graphic and upsetting images. It was silly of me to read this at work the other night, cause I balled my eyes out! It makes me so sick and embarrassed to be part of the human race when I read the many stories like this. How can people let their pets suffer so much and mistreat such beautiful creatures?! I can never walk past any animal that may even be possibly injured or unwell. I really applaud and look up to welfare groups and organisations who do everything in their power, even when times are tuff to help animals. They are the voices for those innocent creatures!!
