This is some old video of brother Joe schaechter racing our Camaro in a class combo. Actually on his day, the throttle linkage slipped and was not opening the throttle all of the way. It went 10.00s every run so we left it alone. I wish we had the clutches we have now for it. This was a rag disk with about 2000lbs base. Kind of a parts muncher. The engine was Lee and Al Otis old engine. We used to buy used rods and valve springs from their comp car to keep it alive. The crankshaft was the original 302 crank out of lees z28 that he had purchased new in 68. Billy miller still races that car today.
