This is some video of Robin Williams and Siblings of Doctors - Sketch Comedy Group (Danny Pudi, Rasika Mathur, and me) hanging out backstage in San Francisco circa 2008. A bit of context: (1) At the beginning, Robin is talking about some of Siblings of Doctors comedy pieces, mostly Rasikas Sari (W)rap. (2) Later, Robin is doing an impression of a guy who had (for real) hit our rental car earlier that day, and wed told Robin the story -- his impression is dead-on including actual lines the guy said. (3) Then we are discussing the fact that both Danny and I had been stopped at our respective airports on the way in -- Danny for having a cricket bat, and me for having a cricket ball and a pair of panty hose. (In one of our sketches, Danny and I portrayed cricket players, and in another sketch, I played a bank robber who wore panty hose over his head.) (4) I must have been using the restroom during this discussion. Ladies and gentlemen ... timing! (5) I thought about whether to share this on my FB wall. I want to be respectful of Robin and his memory. (Im sure that Rasika went through a similar thought process in deciding to post it on YouTube.) I watched it and there is nothing in here that I think would embarrass him or his family in any way. Its Robin being amazing -- Robin being Robin.
