This is something I was reflecting on back on November 15, 2013. I was raking leaves at my aunts house and needed some bags to place them in. I conversed with the neighbor for a few moments and she gave me a few bags. She was in a rush to get to the hospital to see her father. He is sick with Cancer and he is a YOUNG MAN. Only 74 years old. The doctors said there is nothing more they can do for him. I still prayed that God has healing not only for him but the family as well. The family is BROKEN. I can see why, this is tragic and devastating. He has been married to his Beloved Wife for 54-years. No wonder why she wants to keep in the hospital. Sometimes WE feel like that is the safest place for them until their health is restored and their back to their normal self again. One of his last wishes are to come back home.So his daughter fought tooth and nail to make that happen. We would love for our parents or loved ones to live forever and sometimes the pain that they endure to stay alive is hidden. Just think of the thoughts that go through a persons mind who is already to terms with the reality of the situation and not having no say so because everyone else dont want to loose hope. The things we have to live with: Its such a hard decision. Im praying that their relationships with each other is restored as well as his health. It humbles me and makes me more appreciative for my life, my family and my friends because you never know when The Good Lord is going to be calling us HOME. It was a good gesture giving me the bags for the leaves and I returned the acts of kindness giving her advice, being understanding, supportive and giving a listening ear: Loving Thy Neighbor As I Love Thyself...
