This is something that really pisses me off: About a month and a half ago, my son went to the guidance counselor at school and reported that he had been called names by another student. I was called in for a meeting about it. The guidance counselor and I sat down and discussed this issue. Since my sons feelings were deeply hurt the counselor decided that my son should go to an outside counselor for treatment which costs a considerable amount if money. From there, I never heard another thing about what punishment the student received or anything. Two weeks ago, my son (as well as the rest of the students in his class) was told by their teacher that they were nothing but failures! My son immediately went to the counselor about this. During an attendance meeting a week ago, I mentioned it to the assistant principal. She told me that the principal has been in conference about it. To this day, Ive never heard a word. Well today my son came home from school with a D slip stating that my son was reported by third person that he called a student a name. His punishment was ABIP. The D slip stated that all students had been interviewed. My son stated that he had been called names by this person also. To top it off, the teacher that reported this is the teacher that called the class failures! When this occurred, my child or myself was not interviewed. Seems to me like not a damn thing was done about the first incident with the name calling or the teacher incident, but you dare my child to stand up for himself! Shit like this gets on my last nerve. If youve got the balls to dish it out then you should have the balls to take it in. THIS SHIT HAS TO STOP!!
