This is something that should amuse you all. My first hero in life was and continuous to be my dad. So one day when I tuned into the radio, I heard this song for the first time. I was really young then (under 10 years of age) and all I could really make out from the song was the refrain I am going to be like you dad and this became my favourite song. I tuned into the radio everyday with the hope that I can hear it again and again. Probably heard it a couple of times. Harry Chapin the singers name was stuck in my memory and after a while the song just faded out of my memory until I heard the Ugly Kid Joe version of it. And then I understood all the lyrics.
