This is sort of funny. I have always been known for my smile. It actually is the first thing most people recognize about me. I also have the autoimmune disease called Sjogrens which causes all your moisture producing glands in the body to dry up. I could drink water all the time and still have a dry mouth that is parched like the desert sand. Eyes are dry and tears are a rare thing because of it. Serena Williams, (tennis star) also has this. The biggest threat is that it puts me at increased risk for lymphoma. I have a re-occurring nightmare about losing my teeth. Kind of like a popcorn machine spitting kernels out.. Prayer for today is: Lord, forgive me for being so vain.. But if you could spare me my teeth, I will graciously try to smile the rest of my way through life.. Thank you for listening to my sincere, heartfelt request this day. Amen
