This is sort of the way I feel about this even though I dont own a television to witness the wall-to-wall cable freak-out that is no doubt occurring. It is one of the reasons I gave my television away, my loathing of the lemming-like lack of mentality in the mainstream media. Just to put this in perspective we are freaking out about the technological roll-out of a system that is attempting to give millions of Americans health insurance instead of freaking out over a war in Vietnam or Watergate or impeachment proceedings or a war in Iraq we were lied into or the lives destroyed by a hurricane named Katrina. There is a shallowness to this scandal compared to these other media stories that is a kind of summing up of where we are as a nation right now.
