This is such an amazing story. We all know the fate of the Russian czar family during the Russian revolution. So it is pretty bittersweet that this Faberge egg from 1887 has been found and purchased and kind of ironic that it has led to immense overnight fortune for one scrap dealer. Appropriate that it was found in America, the land of opportunity. My great grandmother came here from Lithuania and great grandfather from Russia. So for me, its just all quite interesting. Im glad the egg has a new life.
