This is the 1/6th throttle mod for the 08 and up CBR1000R - Using an R6 throttle tube and some minor alterations to the housing. Before the throttle got to wide open throttle (WOT) on the second line, now with the quick twist mod it travels a lot shorter, which will feel easier to get to where you want to go - Wide Open Throttle! #mtmotorcycles #CBR1000R This mod is similar to using the HRC Quick Throttle assembly, however Honda are asking well over $200 for the kit and you will need to remove the tank, airbox and cables which is an extensive job and can take a considerable amount of time. This is the cheaper alternative that will save you a tonne of money and ease the wrists.
