This is the Central Saving Bank on the corner of 4th and Central. Behind it is the old Pheil Hotel. This is the most fascinating thing is St. Petersburg in my opinion. BOTH of these buildings are still there but you could walk by and never know. In 1960 Florida National Bank bought the buildings and put aluminum siding around these buildings making it appear they are one building. Im curious if anybody would have any photos of the interior of either building, especially the Pheil Hotel and Theater that was in this building at one time.
