This is the Day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! Pray for our brothers and sisters in the Ukraine who are suffering persecution for justice sake and learn vital lessons from them... Christ established One, Holy, Catholic & Apostolic Church. His words are clear and the Holy Spirit confirmed it through the Seven Ecumenical Councils of the Early Church. Our brothers & sisters need our help...they are fighting to defend their life and their Faith! Right now...today...many churches in the Ukraine are being run by government (KGB) controlled clergy and their followers. Dont believe for even a minute that Communism is dead and dont believe this is isolated just in the Ukraine. The Devil does not want to see a unified Church. His legions and dominions do not want our Spiritual Leaders to succeed in their dialogue and work toward UNITY. Sadly, the Evil One influences otherwise good Christian men and women...yes, Im saying good Roman Catholics and good Orthodox Christians...to be blinded and work to destroy rather than to build up the Body of Christ! And, all you need are ears to hear & eyes to see that this is true and all around us. Pray, pray, pray...dont fall into the trap and be a part of the problem by constantly judging others...using names like heretic or schismatic...being so self righteous that you cant see beyond your nose. Thinking you know your Faith, when, through no fault of your own, you have distorted concepts of it. DO NOT limit the work and love of God to a thimble! Open your heart to His Love...to nurture compassion & understanding. Already, there are some folks condemning the upcoming visit of Pope Francis to the Holy Land later this year? Yes...they dont want to see him and Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I bring to fruition the efforts of Pope Paul VI and Patriarch Athenagoras I to fulfill Christs prayer that all may be one! You see...these folks believe that if UNITY is not accomplished the way they think it should be...then the Church should remain divided. They have become the experts, the theologians...they have become greater than the Pope & Patriarch...and, they have become the authors of confusion in their own right! May God Have Mercy on those who believe this way and God forgive them if they do not show the world they are Christians by their love.
