This is the Invitation that Colin Dobell (Executive Director of Stop The Drop) received. From: Maarten Bokhout, on behalf of the Huron-Bruce Federal Liberal Association. The Huron-Bruce Federal Liberal Association is holding a public forum on Great Lakes water levels and their impact on the environment and human activities on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 7:30 pm. It will take place in Kincardine at the Public Hall of the Municipal building, 1475 Concession 5, RR 5, Kincardine. The event will last about two hours. It will be nonpartisan, designed solely to inform and to identify potential strategies for improving water levels. We would like to give you about five minutes to speak to an audience of about fifty. Other panelists will speak about social impacts and the effect on shipping, fishing and commerce in general. We hope to have the speakers conclude within an hour, and there will be a break for refreshments before we engage in a question and answer session, to last the better part of an hour. There may be representation from the federal and the provincial government. We anticipate representation from various municipalities, as well as the Bruce Nuclear facility.
