This is the Kairos community weekend. It is not easy to defend someone who has done wrong. It is much easier to have compassion for the wronged than the wrongdoer. Jesus, who said we are not as bad as our worst deed. Its not always comfortable to follow the forgiving and merciful example of Jesus. They are ashamed and dismayed and cover their heads. Compassionate God, you have shown love and compassion to me. Let me be a reflection of that to others. Amen. Psalm 84:1-7, Luke 1:46-55 Please pray for our Kairos team members to follow faithfully: Listen, Listen, Love, Love to residents. For the Holy Spirit to be with all during this weekend through all talks and meditations. For the music to be inspiring and Spirit-led. And for safe travels to and from their gathering place. Prayers for residents: that fear and hate will be lifted from their hearts and trust and love will prevail. That each resident will receive the love of Jesus and the Holy Spirit and that they will give their hearts to Jesus and accept Him as their Savior.
