This is the Last Day for Early Voting. And my LAST email to you on this topic. You can choose to sit on the sidelines and watch others do the heavy lifting or you can get up and make a difference. The people I know who are part of this community are working hard to get the vote out. YOU are just as important to this bond passing as the scout teams are to preparing the Tigers for Friday nights. Your taxes WILL NOT GO UP. This district IS FINANCIALLY SOUND. We CANNOT play eight varsity teams in only one stadium. I am asking you for a final time to go vote today or on Nov 5th. If you like Thursday night games or Saturdays at 11 then just stay home and watch the bond fail. If its okay to have Homecoming on a Thursday night then dont bother because thats what you might get. The scheduling problems will not get better without another place to play. The district WILL have a second stadium, its just a matter of time. If you assume someone else will vote and make up the difference then you will be WRONG! Tell your friends and get them to vote as well. Please just do it! (or dont bother and you can look the kids and the coaches in the eyes and know you didnt do anything to make their job better, the kids job easier and the Thursday night late-night homework go away) This is email is a personal email and no political statement is necessary as it does not and will not have any cost associated with it.
