Anyway, sometimes celebrities - who know their past lives - are sloppy and slip and reveal something. He slipped! During the interview, he calls her “darling”, realizes he made a mistake, and asks, Can I call you darling? She does not miss a beat, says no, and keeps talking. What they are hiding is that he was President John Adams and she was First Lady Abigail Adams. So of course, he still saw her as his darling, but she did not want to indulge in sentimentality about their past lives together. Maybe others did not understand, but I understood.
