This is the first Ive been able to get on the computer since coming home from Covenant Hospital Friday. Maybe I can take over my Facebook page from my wife, Leigh (LOL). From the time I woke in Intensive Care after the accident till now I have been and continue to be overwhelmed by the many many people who asked about me, sent prayers and wishes, visited, hugged me (gently) shook and held my hand when I could not move and told me they cared about me and loved me. I was crushed. Reduced to a piece of Jello who cried when no one could hear or see. Herself told me I coded but brought back by the Emergency Room folk at UMC. I didnt know what that meant, but was told it means youre dead. However briefly I was coded, it is the outpouring of love and concern and well wishes from you, my family, my close friends, my extended motorcycle family, other friends, coworkers, acquaintances and family of all of them... some I dont even know. I could list them, but over 150 names would be too much for me to write. I am home now. Now starts the pain and process to learn how to walk again. To care for myself the way a normally healthy person does. To be able to go back to work, tend my garden, to take the huge burden off of Herself - Leigh, who has worked her job, spent hours with me at two different hospitals from the start of the accident, as well as tending the house, garden, land, bills, and being the go-between for me at work, and doing things that the both of us worked full-time at doing here at home. I deeply appreciate all that each of you has done, and continue to do. Without it, I would not be here, writing this. From the bottom of my heart, I thank each and everyone of you.
