This is the first Ive heard about this controversy. Hearing that his sister described him thusly: Portraying her tattooed sibling as absent-minded, unable to find his car in the car park, and sometimes lacking in common sense, makes me think he might be somewhere on the spectrum. And her describing him that way sounds a little insensitive. This guy is a super-smart scientist, probably uber-focused on his work, maybe socially awkward. And now people are shaming him for a poor fashion choice. I hope he has a strong support group aside from his sister, or at least a really good therapist.
