This is the image that pops into people head peoples head when I tell them I am Middle Eastern. My point is, is that these over-dramatic, selfish, and ignorant people are taking over what is the homeland of my father and my ancestors and putting the perception in peoples brains that all middle-easterners are radical, islamic jihadists; diminishing the name of the Assyrians and others in the middle east. This needs to stop and America is sitting back, talking about Casey Anthony and Jodi Arias. Those cases are so irrelevant with what people do in their daily lives they dont even realize it. Hours upon hours are spent on covering those trials and many more like them, but the Cr(isis) in Iraq cant even get a 5 minute spot on on CNN because people are so accustom to fighting in the middle east, most of America believe that its the same fighting that has been going on for decades. FALSE, this is a new enemy and a ruthless one. #stopISISnow
